A HEALTHY WAY OF LIFE

ABOUT HONEY:

The organic honey is collected from the jungles of Kolli Malai (District Namakkal) , Sithaer Malai (Salem District) , Yercaud (Salem District) & Palamalai near Mettur Dam (Dharmapuri District) which has no industrial area around it for nearly 5 k.m..The bees feed on adequate organic sources of food from within the jungle which has natural uncontaminated water resource and carries a very low risk of collecting contaminated nectar, either from crops sprayed with chemicals, from roads or from urban pollution. The taste of honey varies according to the nectar it's made from. The aroma, flavor and appearance of honey depends primarily on the species of flower that the bees feed on in their particular seasons.  The composition of the honeys produced in the these region, which are made from a wide array of flora, change its composition as the years go on.Due to the contraction of the mass of the honey, this transformation often leads to the creation of a clear, sugar-like substance on the sides of the jar. These evolving properties serve to guarantee the authenticity of the honey. To bring it back to its normal viscosity, keep the jar in the sunlight for some time or keep it in warm water for 10 minutes.

Amid growing concern over drug-resistant superbugs and non-healing wounds that endanger diabetes patients, nature's original antibiotic — honey — is making a comeback. Honey has a healing property, is anti-inflammatory and also has a mild antiseptic property. Called Medihoney, the United States Food & Drug Administration has approved its usage, It is made from a highly absorbent seaweed-based material, saturated with manuka honey, a particularly potent type that experts say kills germs and speeds healing.

For students and kids, 1 tablespoon of honey before lunch or dinner helps in developing, enhancing the memory, and acts as fuel for the brain . A lactating mother’s milk increases if 3-4 teaspoons of honey is consumed in its pure form before breakfast, lunch and dinner, thrice- a-day. For physically weak people, it helps in keeping a good constitution and an easy digestion. And for the normal people it increases resistance to deseases.
